Overall Job Objective

Job Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Vice President of Business Affairs, the Procurement Manager supervises all  College procurement of goods and services in accordance with the SC Procurement Code.  Conducts pre-bid conference and site visits.  Awards contracts to vendors in accordance with procurement guidelines and monitors all contracts for compliance.  Develops College procurement guidelines.  Plans and directs daily and long-range procurement operational goals.  Directs preparation of all required departmental reports.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus three years' procurement and contracts experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree and Public Procurement Officer (PPO) certification.
