Job Description
Segment Leader is sought by Schaeffler Group USA Inc. in Fort Mill, SC to lead assigned production org (Ind'l - Mechatronics) & rel service functions. Reqs: Bach deg or foreign equiv in Mech'l Engg or rel +5 yrs exp in mnfg envirn in offered position or rel. 5 yrs exp must incl mechanical engg analysis of fully automated assembly lines w/ manual ops to integrate mech'l h/ware & elect'l h/ware; developing, coord'g & monitoring production using digital MES systems to capture & address inefficiencies; testing & analyzing feasibility, dsgn, operation, or performance of automotive eqpmt, components, or mechatronic systems; recommending tech'l dsgn & process changes; installation & maintenance of production machinery, incl high volume automated & low volume manual assembly lines; & reviewing engg specs to determine mnfg feasibility.
