Job: Technical Quality Assurance Analyst

Agfa HealthCare Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Professional Services team.

The Technical QA Analyst will technically evaluate all custom development projects by identifying and performing appropriate test cases to exercise the solution to ensure it meets the functional specification (verification) and end-users intended use (validation.) This is a working manager role, responsible for leading team of Technical and Clinical QA Analyst and interns for all custom development projects.

This position may be based out of the following location(s) and surrounding area:

Greenville, SC

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Verification and Validation of all custom development services within Professional Services organization, from a technical perspective

*
Work collaboratively with global team as well as regional cross functional team to assess workflow and use of solution

*
Work closely with Professional Services Software Engineers to ensure we have appropriate test processes in place and system adequately validated

*
Work closely with Professional Services Custom Development Engineers on defect identification and resolution

*
Narrow down the root cause of any anomaly identified during certification cycle

* Track all reported defects and ensuring they are appropriately resolved before releasing solution for deployment

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare environment

Experience

*
3+ years developing test plans and test cases

*
3+ years working with software applications

*
Proven technical background with client-server designed solutions

*
Solid understanding of clinical workflow, specifically related to PACS environment

*
Ability to build and configure client and server solutions end-to-end following proper manufacturing materials

*
Strong knowledge / use of MS Word

*
Proven experience performing Software Quality Assurance functions

*
Ability to construct suitable test cases to objectively verify functional specifications

*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*
Project Management skills a plus

*
Technical experience with computer systems and applications required

*
Knowledge of FDA cGMP or ISO 9001 a plus

*
Process driven / motivated

* Ability to accurately estimate QA effort for each custom engineering project
