Client s US Consumer & Commercial Banking Seeks an experienced project manager to assist in execution of various AML/BSA initiatives.
Develop and execute on detailed project plans for various AML/BSA workstreams. Serve as point of contact for project team members to provide updates to and also follow up on open items and deliverables.
Provide weekly status updates to Global AML PMO on various AML/BSA activities managed by the US Consumer and Commercial Banking Group.
Maintain effective project discipline in tracking, communicating and following up on project issues. Own the Issues Log, ensure appropriate communication to senior management.
Work effectively as an influencer across teams that include representatives from various internal business lines as well as representatives from external partners supporting internal business initiatives.
Serve as documentation specialist on various workstreams, including serving as scribe/notetaker to effectively memorialize key meeting outcomes.
Assist in preparation of management reports, steering committee presentations, and various status updates to senior management.
Utilize strong process skills to document existing AML processes across various product lines.
Perform extensive research and data analysis related to potentially high risk customers of the US Consumer & Commercial Bank.
Partners with business unit management to establish project priorities, utilizing excellent leadership and communication skills.
Successfully interfaces with various levels of professionals, from front-line to executive management in a professional manner.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required.
5-8+ Years of Experience in financial services firms.
Prefer a candidate with understanding of retail banking.
Sound understanding of BSA/AML execution with experience preferred, but not required.
Excellent understanding of project management software usage.
Excellent understanding of project management life cycle, methodology, practices, and tools required.
Strong data analysis skills.
Strong understanding of an experience in process modeling and re-engineering required.
Highly effective presentation skills (both written and verbal); particular emphasis on PowerPoint.
Demonstrated meeting and project team facilitation skills.
Strong experience with SharePoint (development preferred, but not required)
