Job Description :

- Overseeing the production process, maintaining the production schedule.

- Ensure planned Key Performance Indicator s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded. Ensuring that the production is cost effective.

- Coordinate and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations.

- Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure product quality meets or exceeds planned goals.

- Implement and drive continuous improvement with overall quality of product.

- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies, systems and processes

- Manage the manufacturing operation consistent with the company operating guidelines.

- Establish individual accountability using coaching, support and performance management processes. Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports & ensure it is done for the rest of the production areas.

- Establish manufacturing priorities and allocate the resources.

- Ensure compliance with environmental policies, systems and processes

Job Requirements :

Required Skills

- Able to interpret and utilize manufacturing methods specified and when appropriate suggest revised methods to facilitate increased quality and lower costs

- Proficient in manufacturing methods used for machining and fabricating components required for Aerospace and/or Nuclear industries

- Strong computer skills, spreadsheet usage, Microsoft Project and ERP experience a plus

- Demonstrates leadership, analytic ability, problem-solving and have excellent communication skills.

Required Experience and Education

- 3 to 5 years of production management experience in a manufacturing industrial environment

- BSIE preferred but will consider strong experience background
