The Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE) Electrician installs conduit and wiring above and below ground at military fuel facilities. Fabricates, installs, and terminates utilization equipment such as PLC enclosures, motors and sensors. Will perform variety of electrical trade functions such as installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment. Work involves the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as transformers, controllers, circuit breakers, conduit systems, or other electrical equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing trouble in electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment; and using variety of Electrician's hand tools, trenching equipment, and measuring and testing instruments.
Will be assigned as part of a crew or work as lead on small installations. Position involves nearly 100% travel and may include overseas work.

Requirements: Ability to travel 100% required (relocation not required). Ability to acquire and maintain US government security clearance and/or Common Access Card (CAC). Ability to acquire and maintain corporate credit card should it be required by the position. Valid state drivers license. High school diploma or equivalency. Experience with Microsoft (MS) Windows OS and MS Office applications. Four (4) Years industrial conduit (rigid and EMT) installation experience. Familiar with National Electric Code (NEC). Ability to use basic hand tools. Ability to work from heights up to 50 feet.
Preferences: Journeyman license. Hazardous area installation experience. Experience installing or maintaining industrial control systems. Experience with Government fuel accounting systems (AFHE, FMD, FAS, BSM-E, ATG). Experience with Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) systems including one or more of the following: Veeder-Root, Ronan, L&J, Enraf, Barton, Pneumercator. Experience with independent alarm systems including one or more of the following: Scully, Magnetrol, E&H, Fafnir, Mercoid, Omnitrol, Pneumecator, TLC, Bindicator, Devar, Aggressive Systems, GE Fanuc Programmable Logic Controllers. Experience with overfill protection or ground verification systems including one or more of the following: Scully, Varec, Fafnir, GE Fanuc Programmable Logic Controllers. Experience with serial data communications (e.g., RS-232, RS-485).
