The Capture Manager for our CEIS division located in Charleston, SC is responsible for capture management activities for the Company?s various technical solutions and offerings. The Manager is responsible for near and long-term capture execution for opportunities related to infrastructure protection, physical security, building automation, C5ISR and related systems including sustainment opportunities within DoD, DHS and other federal agencies. Partners with operations in developing capture strategies, win themes and strategy as required to support proposal efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Partners with operations in developing win strategies to minimize risks and increase probability of wins.
* May conduct customer visits and perform research to understand customer needs and requirements.
* Assesses competitor capabilities generally aligned to specific customers.
* Develops and executes capture plans, both short and long range, for the pursuit and successful capture of key opportunities.
* Works with cross-functional and operational teams to balance resource priorities to ensure continual, consistent progress through solutions, staffing, teaming and pricing elements of the capture plan.
* Leads, with the Proposal Manager, the development and evaluation of the technical and management content and contractual compliance of proposals. Provides management with information to identify critical areas of the opportunity?s win strategy to minimize risks and maximize the probability of win. Participates in bid decisions, the development of cost strategies and phase reviews. Recommends acceptance or rejections of proposals and provides recommendations for improvement.
* Obtains marketing intelligence and competitive data pertaining to potential targeted pursuits.
Requirements:
* United States Citizenship
* Active Secret Clearance
* Educational: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum ten years directly related capture experience with infrastructure protection, physical security, building automation, C5ISR, readiness/sustainment and related systems/platforms
Preferences:
* Prefer candidates with experience related to DoD, DHS and federal agency engineering, technical, and/or logistics services contracts
* Prefer candidates with experience leading large ($100M+) capture/proposal efforts
