ARINC s Charleston, South Carolina
C2 Systems and Services is seeking
electronics and Communication
technicians with a positive
attitude to support our Command
Control Systems and Service
Division (C2S2) to maintain Air
Traffic Control equipment at
various overseas locations. This position will deploy for 6 or 12 month rotations.

This position will:

- Involve ensuring electronic
systems and support equipment is
maintained in a ready status in
order to minimize impact to
operational air traffic control
operations
- Procure and track materials
- Initiate and complete
preventative maintenance actions on
assigned equipment, to include
general housekeeping tasks
- Provide regular status reports to
supervisor Qualifications Required Experience:

- 0-2 years of practical experience
in the field of electronics repair,
installation, maintenance, and
checkout
- Minimum of 1 year practical
experience in electronics
installation
- Must possess a thorough knowledge
of the principles of electricity
and electronics
- Must have the ability to
interpret and work from blueprints,
drawings, manuals, handbooks and
technical specifications
- Must be available to travel on 1
yr assignments
- Requires self initiative and a
customer focus

Applicants selected will be subject
to a government security
investigation and must meet
eligibility requirements, including
US Citizenship, for access to
classified information.

Desired Experience:

- Air Traffic Control RADAR,
UHV/VHF and SATCOM communications,
Voice Switch or related systems
design and/or installation highly
desirable
- DOD systems and installations
experience also preferred

Education or Certification
Requirements:

- Graduate of a high school,
vocational school, or have the
General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Must have formal electronics
training obtained as graduates of a
technical school, military school
(Class A or Class B in Electronics
or Communications), or a 4-year
documented apprentice program
- Provide explanation/documentation
for experience in the following
tasks: soldering, cable dressing,
conduit and cable tray install,
interpreting blueprints/technical
drawings, making/repairing
connectors, circuit troubleshooting
Amount of Travel Required for Position 75%-100%
